Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman has been an accomplished professor of psychology since 1993, and the Director of the Center for Public Policy Research, University of California Davis. She is widely credited with beginning the current research into the study of memories of eyewitnesses and children's victimes as witness in court contexts. Professor Goodman is a prolific writer and has been awarded many grants and has been honored with many national and international awards. She consults with numerous nations and organizations around the world on policies as well as the study of children's victimization within the court system. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center - formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center - of Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is also a Fellow in the Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association, (Divisions Experimental Psychology Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families Practice and Policy American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 55). Professor Goodman is a member of Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children as a founding Member, International Society for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. Professor Goodman was the President of the America Psychological Association's divisions, Division American Psychology Law Society, Division Developmental Psychology and Division Society for Child and Family policy and practice.
